Any changes to this issue? I really need to be able to increase the RTH height, there are plenty of trees around me that are much taller than 20m

Welcome, you may missed this in the thread:
For future references (I wrote it above already): firmware version 4.2.2 is the last one that supported changing the RTH altitude.

Yeah, I did see that, but it was 8 months ago so was hoping there might be more progress since then

I guess this feature was not removed "by accident". Personally I think it won't come back.

That's interesting. I can't think of any good reason why this feature should be removed. It seems like a basic safety feature to me. The Anafi seems to have it, so why remove it from the bebop. I could understand if it was never there in the first place, but why get rid of it????? Am I missing something about this feature that it could be used for evil??

All we can do is speculate. Maybe they didn't expect people to find it in the text files and change it. (unlikely)

Maybe to sell some more Anafi. (not sure about that)
