Can’t calibrate my Disco
Hi there !
I’m having issues while trying to calibrate my disco ...
it’s brand new, and I did update it to 1.7.1, and my application FreeFlight Pro is updated to.
So when I try to calibrate my drone, it says : “ please turn your drone arround the X axis ( roll ) as shown on the animation ”
But first, the animation is not moving, and then, when I do so, nothing happens... it stays on the screen....
I though first it was a default of my disco so I changed it, but it is still not working ...
So either i’m Doing something wrong, or the app ( or the disco software) is screwed...
Do you guys have any idea of what’s going on ?
Thank you !

Re: Can’t calibrate my Disco
Hi Orville, I had the same problem just now on my iPhone - very frustrating.
Luckily I also have an android so I used that to calibrate which did work - the problem I noticed is that the wording has changed - the first screen on iPhone says "Please turn your drone on x-axis as shown in the image" - but on the android version is says "Hold the drone vertical as shown for 5 seconds" - this gets you to the next step, the familiar animation of rotation. It's essentially the same instruction but the fact that they use the word turn had me turning it, and rotating. I think they should really change the text back as it is quite confusing.
So on the first screen of the calibration just hold the drone with camera pointing at the ground for 5 seconds and it should work
Hope this helped. Cheers!

Re: Can’t calibrate my Disco
Hi,
Just wanted to let you know I had the same problem using an apple Iphone X to calibrate my Disco Pro Ag. The app didn't tell me to hold the drone vertical (camera facing down). But, when I did this, the rest of calibration worked fine. Thanks for your post.

Re: Can’t calibrate my Disco
Thank you so much guys, I had exactly this problem and now, thanks to you, I will be able to fly safely with my Parrot disco ! Shame on the support of Parrot ... I will write them my deep consternation because they don’t talk about this problem on them site .

Re: Can’t calibrate my Disco
It is well known that parrot have great products and atrocious customer support, it is only going to get worst as they move away from the toy drone markets to focus on commercial drone markets!! Don't expect much of a response from them. Glad to hear you could resolve the issue.
