I just got one from Great Hobbies near trainyards. Is there any group interested in renting a gym. I would like to try the shooting games. So far I've only flown it in parks.

Hi Everyone,

Since the AR Drone now works on the Android Phone I am considering one, is there a group that gets together, might be good to get one setup in gym somewhere where we can mix micro helicopters and the AR Drone.

Yikes, there must be more than 5 of us ! *grin* Im about to take my unit out to the parks... can only fly indoors so long...
Anyone's take off into the great blue yonder ? Ive already got a "reward if found" tag on the shell, and base. *grin* Hope for the best, prepare for the worst.

hey guys. had my drone since christmas and have had 3 successful flights outside sofar. probably like most of us i also was worried about the fly aways but sofar it seems as long as you keep control of your drone you should have a good flight. im in brockville but unfortunately i can't drive. good to see more flyers from ontario on here.

Picked one up today and looking forward to flying with others. Charged the battery and gave it a quick go in the backyard. Way too windy today but I think I got the idea. Slick system.

Hope there is some more traffic to this site / area. Msg me if you want to get together.

I'm in Ottawa near just south of St Laurent. Just ordered me some extra batteries and charger from hobbyking, bearings, extra shafts, etc.

Can't wait for the extra batteries to come in so I can have some more flight time outdoors

Also picked up my drone from Great hobbies in train yards
