Hello everyone, thanks for taking the time to read this post.

I recently purchased an AR Drone 2.0 and wish to live stream the feed from the camera to my PC. I am currently using ffmpeg to live stream.

However, there is a latency issue which there is a two second delay. What are my options in trying to get a live stream to my PC with less latency? Once again thank you.

Hello and welcome to the board,

2 seconds sounds HUGE, can you please be more precise on your setup? Does the PC connect to the wifi of the AR.Drone directly (ad hoc)?

Sure. The setup of the drone is the following:

The PC connects to the drone via wi-fi. Once connected, I open the command prompt to run "ffplay tcp://192.168.1.1:5555". The computer then opens a window for viewing the front camera of the drone.

2.4GHz bidirectional booster will do. As radio travels in light speed. As long as you are on earth. It won't change a lot.
