Crashed my Drone 2.0 yesterday by trying a flip while moving about 1 mtr above ground pretty fast. (Idiot)
The same thing seems to happen every time I crash and that is the small plastic motor gear fly's off somewhere and the bottom of the motor falls out (plastic disc with two holes in it.)
I managed to find the bottom of my motor but couldn't locate the Plastic gear.
Seems Parrot only sells that gear with a whole new motor.
Anyone got one lying around? Im happy to pay good $$
Ship to Canberra, Australia??

Anyone have a spare motor gear?
Re: Anyone have a spare motor gear?
That's what I mean.
Buying a whole engine when you "lose the fuel cap". I found this annoying also, although I haven't really had the need to buy another drone 2 motor.
I am thinking to be more careful with my drone 2 whatever it takes.

Re: Anyone have a spare motor gear?
The metal gear on top of my motor broke off and I had to buy a whole new motor because you cannot replace it. I couldn't believe it! All other helis and quadrocopters sell the shaft and top gear which is simple to change out by popping a c clip. This is a poor design IMO.

I know this threads a month old but spurs are available here.

Both standard 8 tooth and 9 tooth ( not sure if that 1/9 extra would mess things up regards prop speed !!!! )

Re: Anyone have a spare motor gear?
The OP was looking for a gear for a 2.0... these 1.0 gears don't work on a 2.0 motor shaft

Re: Anyone have a spare motor gear?
I have a motor that burned out, and a motor that I chopped the gear off during a crash, can the gear be removed from the burned out motor, and placed in the motor with the chopped off gear?
