Ar drone 2.0 not turning on

Post by Kcronk09 » 03 Jul 2017, 20:36

I have a ar drone 2.0 power edition that is not turning on. Upon connecting the battery to the drone the 4 led lights turn on red but after a few seconds the lights shut off and nothing else happens. I have tried multiple fresh charges batteries and reset the drone multiple times with no success of returning power to the drone. Before this problem occurred the drone was involved in a mid speed crash while trying to land where the bottom of the drone impacted with a flat surface and that is when the problem first started to occur. I am running the drone on the latest software and on a Samsung galaxy s7 and this is the first time this problem has occurred. Any help is greatly appreciated!

Hello and welcome,

it is likely a broken mainboard, but you should check the connectors of the mainboard first. (But I guess they are okay because of the red lights.)

Don't bother contacting Parrot support. They'll send you a paragraph about it not being their fault. My daughter's Christmas present didn't work right out of the box and all I've gotten is smart ass 'support' people clipping a warranty paragraph absolving themselves from any responsibility to make their BRAND NEW product work.

That's true. They did nothing. Especially their tone is not always helpful. Punishment must be made to Parrot employee. Better to lay off the rest 70% employee next time.:x
