Better 3rd Party App over FreeFlightPro?

Post by Twister3125 » 15 Aug 2017, 22:44

I'm curious as to everyone's experience with other drone piloting apps. Specifically, I am looking for an app that tells me MPH and feet for altitude.

Any suggestions?

No doubt, gonna get the best of the best Bebop 2 app for a professional manual flight from AR Tommy which is called Bebop Control on iTunes App Store! :D https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/bebop-c ... 31331?mt=8

The app has been highly customised for the Ace pilots. Units of mph/hr and km/hr are switchable! You will be delighted by its FPV customisation session. It supports 16:9 view screen on iPad (OMG! iPad is a 4:3 device)!!! Even the Parrot FF shit and other 3rd party apps can't do it yet!!! Once switched to 16:9. The view screen will be in full pixel and very pixel-densed. Much clear! Unlike the Freeflight which crops the FPV feed from 16:9 down to 4:3 on iPad... those moronic Parrot employee are idiot and crazy! And in this app, the FPV streaming quality is adjustable too (from FPV response-oriented to Quality-oriented)!!! Genius like AR Tommy who is still contributing to Parrot stuff is found very rare nowaday!

And it is very stable too on iDevices. I've never encountered a single crash of application since it has been upgraded to v1.3. :)

At the moment (Bebop Control 1.3) does only support the "old" (bigger) Sky Controller that connects via wifi. The update for the new (small) Sky Controller is almost done but it needs MFI (made for iPhone) verification from Parrot and Apple and got delayed recently.

If you need the support of the small Sky Controller don't buy right now.

I'm really sorry for this. bb2733 could join the beta tester group to get the app earlier.

Wondering if you make this app for Android too, or just for iOs users?

Thanks Solaris, I hope so, Im not a fan of the FFP, having seen what other 3rd party apps can do, unfortunately it seems like they are all for iOS

Dude! Come on! Lol. From what I gather it's often easier doing android over iOS. What program are you using? Unity3d, Havoc, Unreal? Or just straight proprietary coding?

It's hard enough to make an app! Stop complaining! We all like A.R. Tommy's work!
