The pins pop out fairly easy... I used a sewing needle and my smallest jewelers screwdriver with no problems.

Absolutely beautiful weather here today. Having moved away from the whole CF shaft thing fresh stock shafts, ultraflight gears, and balanced props I just got right under 17 minutes flight time with this new setup using the 1500mAh stock battery.
While there was certainly a bit of hovering in my flight... I did a number of circuits, fit in 3 flips, and spent some time up around 50 meters.
Win, win, win

Can't pass the opportunity to share some highlights of the flight:

He changed the world and lost it all in the end.
A little later in the day today I flew with one of my nanos and got right under 14 minutes. Loving this setup.

Do you think the cross is adding any flight time?

I think it has to be the cross and the ultra flight gears. Everything else is stock.

Anything stiffer without adding weight should increase flight time to varying degree's.i-Drone wrote:Do you think the cross is adding any flight time?

The new cross is absolutely lighter and stiffer. After installing mine the drone feels more solid without any increase in weight.
I did some very satisfying indoor test flights as well with the indoor hull on.
I'm pretty much going to call the Sport Cross a significant structural update. When combined with flight recorder It updates and upgrades the drone past being an expensive toy into the territory of solid hobbyist hardware.
I am extremely satisfied. I'll be writing a full review later on when I have a bit more time and better weather for an outdoor flight.

Tommy - here's a flight-time comparison, it flew 7% longer on a 3 test average:

Re: Now Available, Sports Cross Kit from i-Drone
Can someone help me?
The guy ShellDude has a video on page 1 of this thread (3rd post from top), he is showing off the sports cross but my question is not about that my question is about the device he has on his drone that looks like a little antenna with a flat yellow disc on top of it... What mod is this?
