Ok Kanen has ordered one return spring kit.

I spoke to horizon hobby in UK and got down to the bottom about why they are funny about supplying these in any sort of bulk.

Basically they said there isnt a spring return kit as such and they only make theres up out of scrounging bits and pieces from broken radios they have lying about.

I asked if Spektrum even do an official kit and the answer was no, so I guess this is where we are left, either send your radios in or see if horizon hobby in uk or USA will post you one

I think I am going to give up...Im never going to touch Horizon hobby again!!

So what happens/whats different/what do I need to be aware of if I fly without a sprung throttle?

You have to manually keep the throttle at center, I've not flown without it but it has its advantages that you can set your climb rate and just concentrate on the cyclic controls. You just have to remember to bring it back to center yourself.

2nd spring kit has now been purchased.

If I can get any in the future I'll purchase them straight away and put a post up letting people know they are available. But they will come in dribs and drabs depending on when they get enough spare parts to make the kits up again.
