Try http://www.horizonhobby.com/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Alternatively, you dont have to have a spring return, you could wait and see what you think of it without, some people actually prefer it

ya horizonhobby in the US is giving me the same run around. Very frustrating.
:( I even tried the UK shop and they sent me back to US.

I decided I would prefer the spring return. I've been flying without it for last few weeks and I find I tend to gain or lose altitude unintentionally all the time.

UK base are messing me around. Really hate companies with poor sales/customer communications.

I have a local supplier here in AU who has them.

Lemme see what he can get them for if I buy a couple of sets.

Neil you willing to stock a couple for the UK folks if I can get em?

Otherwise I'll grab a couple and keep them on hand, the kits are tiny and can go into a regular mail envelope so I should be able to send them anywhere in the world for prob $2 or $3 postage so I'll offer them up cost price plus $5 postage and handling (no free steak knives, I aint demtel!).

I did try calling horizon hobby in illinois, the guy told me i had to send it in. I asked if i could just buy the kit and he said they dont sell them. But if i send it in they will mod it free of charge. I live in illinois and it would still be two weeks before id get my controller back.

Just contacted my local supplier to see how many more kits he has in stock and what it's going to cost me to purchase a few.

Will let you guys know hopefully later today what the cost will be on these.

Going to sell them at what they cost me plus postage and cost of some packaging.

Stay tuned :)

Hopefully I can get a few kits and send a few to Neil at i-drone.me and blorincz here at drone-mods.com so they can stock them for you guys to buy direct when you get your QuadMod kits.

That would be great DaZa! I would definitely take some. I am asked regularly about the spring mod kit from people.

I called Horizon Hobby today after seeing these posts, hoping I could get some where with them, but no luck. Talk to someone in sales and in product support. Tried two from angles and neither worked. There must be some liabilty or something if they provide people with them and people screw them up. Maybe it voids the warranty, so they don't do it.

Any ways, I'll definitely take some. Thanks DaZa!

Bugger... I'm told that an official kit doesn't exist as far as horizon is concerned. My local supplier does a lot of radios so they just source the bits from spares to make up a kit now and then when people ask for them.

He tells me he has enough for 2 kits so I'm going to grab those.

Blorincz keep hassling Horizon about them, try their different offices until you get someone who can get the bits and send them to you and you can make up kits.

Now to the hard part, to find owners for these 2 kits.

They are costing me $10 AUD each who desparately needs one, you can have them for $20 US including postage anywhere on the globe except the arctic poles
