Bebop - inovation... errr

Post by shawnf » 14 May 2014, 19:45

Well I guess you will have seen Parrot's latest "innovations" with the Bebop and the DBS antenna add-on.

Oh wait, they didn't actually call it that did they ;) I hope DBS gets a commision...

Then we have the HUD addition to FreeFlight - yep tick got that.... and Oculus Rift support. Also tick - see this post from 22 June last year
http://www.ardrone-flyers.com/forum/vie ... =42&t=6255

Ah I see, Parrot don't actually employ PMs to come up with new product ideas, they just read this forum... perhaps they should employ us ;)
Imitation is flattery I guess, just a shame they continue to mention developer SDK support... and they do that so well, as the SDK hasn't been updated to even support the Flight Recorder yet and the last update was January 2013 :)

It is highly recommended not to play DJI and Parrot copters as a revenge. :D

I would like to share my opinion on this:
they needed 50 engineers to copy all the stuff we came up with for the ar drone 2.0, all ours mods (antennas, boosters, inductive antennas, brick mod, rc mods, better cameras, all the work of external devs (Shawn, Shelldude etc) and not a single f*ck of credit was given to us, screw parrot and their copy paste engineers!

the community made this happen, not the goddamn parrot engineers

not buying this...and never will, it will be plagued with craploads of problems anyways (usual parrot)
