the last update has allowed me to refresh my license over my mobile network, so the licensing thing is a non-issue for me.. but I bet its a pain for WiFi only tabs... It's to bad more android users don't know about this great app, I see so many pissed off android posts on Parrot's facebook page...

I just wanna say... Ar Drone flight pro is a god send. This is hands down the best flying app on the market. I recently switched Roms and had to re install it and all I had to do was move the my profile and flight animation backups back to my internal sd in the back up folder and bam. All done. No more reconfiguring. It took me so long to set up my ps3 controller I would hate to do that again.. Now all I do is move them to my ext sd and move back when needed. Yay.
Shawn, you should really get yourself a "donate" button.
Quick question though: Is there a way to toggle auto hover off completely so I don't have to hold the button down? That's the only way it works for me. But, due to my messed up bottom camera, I have to hold it all the time or the Drone flies funky. Is there a way to toggle it permanently that I missed?

I do have a donate, but it's on my website, as I don't want to put it in people's faces all the time :-)
http://www.meavydev.co.uk/ARDrone.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Toggle is on the feature request list thread, but not currently implemented...
I'm currently working on speeding up the graphics pipeline by moving to OpenGL ES 2, which is almost ready, bar some last cross device testing... Write once test on the 10 different devices I currently have and it still isn't close to covering all the ones people use ;-)

Excellent. I'll definetely be dropping by that donate button :) Developers are so under appreciated. Hehe.
That all sounds like a pretty daunting task though. I would love to see a permanent hover lock toggle. Especially with the current drone issues I'm having. All in due time :)
keep up the good work! Your app is a masterpiece.

I was wondering if u can help me out
I'm trying to get the best view on my Nexus 7 screen when flyin
I'm recording to usb only not to tablet
so i'm trying to figure out the best video quality link possible
so I can keep a clear picture without it freezing up and skipping
like use adaptive video
use P264/H264 codec
video bitrate setting
record bitrate setting
set device video performance low / medium / high
and others

you've prolly answered all these before but I can't find

adaptive video off, use the P264 codec and max everything else out, the N7 can handle it ;)

I cannot get my N7 to record local video.

I really need it to work.

I deleted the file structure when I had my tablet hooked up as a USB device to my PC.

Since then, local video has not worked. The file structure (directorys) are there.
