Any way of force installing ar.freeflight?
Any way of force installing ar.freeflight?
I am trying to install ar.freeflight on a nook color running CM7, but the market says it is not compatible with my device, and will not install. I have looked for the apk file everywhere for a manual install, but have been unable to locate. I have used the ar.drone demo program, but I am having some control issues with my drone and wanted to try out the official software before I start replacing motors...
Any ideas? Thanks.

you can try side loading it on a phone and then move it to your tab with adb.

Hate to hear you're returning it. I've only had mine for a few days and can vouch for its hardiness. I'm mainly flying it into plants/trees outside, but have hit my light pole once. All using the outdoor hull which is less protective. No problems at all with it.
Have you tried emailing the developer of freeflight? I bet he'd email the apk file to ya. Wouldn't mind it myself for my NookColor. Maybe I'll do it for ya. My phone's not rooted so I can't access the apk file myself.

Well, Brookstone won't let me return it, so I guess it's time to start messing with this thing again. If anyone has the APK file they could send me, please do so at rychlick_at_msu.edu. I will email Parrot as well. Thanks again.

I emailed Parrot and am waiting for a response. We'll find a way for you to get it.rickone wrote:Well, Brookstone won't let me return it, so I guess it's time to start messing with this thing again. I extracted the APK from my phone and uploaded it here. Let me know if it works on your nook.

Thank you for the link. I now have it running on a kindle fire, works great, better than my ipod touch. I just had to go into settings and disable accelerometer and it's flying like a champ!!!!!!!!

Hi, bumping this because I am trying to use Nook color but won't let me. Anybody have the file to install? I don't want to root or anything but if I can run it somehow I want too use that rather than my iPhone. Thanks!!!
