Saving photos to USB?

Post by sfig » 08 Dec 2014, 01:58

Hi all,

Is it true the AR Done 2.0 can only save videos, not photos to the USB drive? I was flying my drone today, and attempted to take some photos while the drone was quite distant from me, to the extent that the video feed was breaking up, only to find out the photos didn't save to my iPad.

I haven't had this problem before, but I think it must have something to do with weak signal strength at those distances, being too weak to transmit photos to my device? I was hoping I could counteract this problem with a usb drive connected directly to the drone, only to hear USB can only store videos.

Can photos only be stored to the controlling device at moderate distances?

it is true, one can not save photos directly to the USB stick. But this may be changed with a firmware update.

Sweet and delicious apps for your drones.

Yeah but Parrot has long gone stopped giving out firmware updates.
