Have AR2.0. Have iPhone/iPad. Control with controller?

Post by Tyranas » 29 May 2014, 05:25

Hey all,

First post here, glad to be on the forum.

Anyway, I cant seem to find a straight answer to this question:

* I have an AR Drone 2.0.
* I have an iPad (3) / iPhone 4s
* I want to be able to control my drone via a controller, like xBox, PS3, etc.

IS THIS POSSIBLE??

I cant seem to get a straight answer to this question... I have googled around but I keep finding little tidbits but no decisive answer. So, is this possible?

Thanks!

The 60Beat controller works well if you can still find one for a realistic price!

@D-an-W

Yeah, I have seen that app on the app store, but what's up with all the bad reviews there? When did you download the app? Are you using it with AR2.0?

Thanks

Too bad developers are not allowed to respond to reviews.

I downloaded Drone Control around Christmas time and the HD version a month or two later, not had a problem with it other than me not knowing how to use it initially but AR.Tommy soon sorted that for me!

If you will jailbreak your I device, there is an app called bluecontrol that will connect the device to the ps3,controller. Then you map the keys of the drone app you prefer, and you are flying with the controller.

Hello,

I am new here and am not sure if this is the correct place to post my question, however

I have an Drone 2.0. Does anyone know if the Moga Rebel game controller and my iPhone 6 will work together to control my drone. If not does anyone have any ideas as to which controller to use with AR 2.0 and iPhone 6?

Thank you,

Dennis

Basically every MFI gamepad with extended layout (2 additional analog sticks) should work with Drone Control. Development was done with the Moga Ace Power and the Stratus Steel. I did not test the Moga Rebel.
