Inaccurate altitude height readings

Post by pixxelpusher » 26 Jan 2014, 17:26

I've never taken much notice of the altitude display in the FreeFlight iOS app, but today when I did it was all over the place. The drone was barely 1m off the ground and the app was saying between 3 - 5m. Is it normal for it to be this inaccurate?

Hello,

this can indeed happen from time to time and is app independent. Usually it kind of self-corrects this behavior after unplugging and replugging the battery.

Thanks again, just wanted to make sure this isn't a hardware fault or anything. I'll keep an eye on it during my next flight, but if it's normal so be it.
