I've done some testing on the ground, walking with (and without) the drone, and it appears to me that the indicator is displaying a connection strength between the drone itself and the repeater. I wanted to get that clarified by the app developer.

Hello,

this is a very good question and I never tested it that much but since the AR.Drone is measuring the signal strength, sending the signal back to the app (it is not the app that gets it from the device, this is not possible on iOS) it should be the wifi strength between the AR.Drone and the router.

Love my 60 beat, love my drone control.

Thanks Kyle and Tommy - great combination. Now just need to practice, sensitivity is high but can be tamed with the drone control tilt and rotation settings.

Loving it,

All I need now is someone to answer my extender questions and I will be set.......

Is it possible to make the emergency button require a double tap? I would hate to press it by accident (which me being clumsy is easy) when flying.

Which wouldn't be so bad except my 60beat supporting apps were on that phone. Which means I'm having to use the AR.Drone app like all the other suckers! Lol, more than ever I am now very much looking forward to Drone Control coming stateside.
Kyle, there is a US version of Drone Control. I was using it just a few minutes ago!

Sorry, Kyle... I was looking at an old post of yours thinking that it was just posted. Sorry 'bout that!

Tommy, I am enjoying your app more and more. One thing occurred to me just a few minutes ago. When you are using the 60beat, you don't have sound, so you don't get an audible battery alert. Is it possible to give the phone a pulsing vibrate when the battery is low? And another thing: Is it possible to include an option to include stats on the recorded video? So that you can see how high you were or how fast you were going at any point in the video?

It is not possible to vibrate while the 60 beat iPad is connected. I already checked that. This is because of iOS limitations. You can not vibrate while recording sound, which is what the controller does to communicate with the iPhone.

You can use Drone Control to export the navigation data in a csv file. And then use a 3rd party software from dashware to create the video. Check out this thread: http://www.ardrone-flyers.com/forum/vie ... 45&start=0" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Please note: the 60Beat Gamepad controller uses the microphone to communicate with your device. When using Drone Control with iOS 7 and it asks you about accessing the microphone - you have to allow access, otherwise the 60Beat Gamepad will not work.

Hello,

thank you for the suggestion. This is already on the to-do list, but the list is pretty big.
