That's what I read about the pitch control, full on or full off. Thanks for the info :)

May be similar with the drone I'm thinking. There should be a command that when executed it brings you a beer or maybe some doritos with it  Snap your fingers and off it goes.

Modified the 60beat game pad so I don't have to put my iPhone in my pocket ;)

Sweet, looks great, nice work Amadeus :). I thought having this setup with a pair of 3D type glasse would be perfect. Then a guy could have an nice FPV system. Add Garrock's Wheel to the Drone with maybe a ground based wifi extender and it would have great range. I've seen the glasses for idevices that plug right into the multipin on the phone but I don't think the app outputs the video to the multipin. That would be just too easy  I'm sure someone would have tired that already if it could be done. I could be wrong though. SInce the least expensive glasses I've seen are around $200, I'm not inclined to buy them not knowing. I can do a lot of mods for that.

Damn, that would be great Dc. Thanks. That would be great for the Nexus. Unless I could find a pair for lots less than the $180 I've seen I'd rather get a Nexus and ADRF Pro of course. Best thing to use for down-ranging from what a couple of guys here say  I'm trying to get used to the iphone for FPV when i get the wheel installed but it's not the best. Just more challenge that's all

Hmmmmm. FPV + iPhone ..... I shall find a way. But man I don't want to jailbreak my iPhone. I'm so done with that phase ready. Ugh. What to do what to do....Choices.

Amadeus, very nice.

What iPhone mount did you use? And how did you mounted it to the Gamepad (I could not quite tell from the photos).

Thx

Ok don't laugh but I used a basic iPhone stand case. Sorry don't remember where I got it from but I took that, removed the based from it and then used first 3M double sides mounting tape. But I used gorilla glue and glue the 3M tape on the arm of the case :) then glue that to the controller as well >=) so to like double enforce it :/ lol. I've shaken the controller around with the iPhone in it to see if it was indeed strong enough and it didn't even budge :) what's cool to is the case swivels :) and now when playing games on the iPhone and the controller it's even better

Nothing to laugh at bro. You took some stuff and made it work. Doesn't get any better than that. If I can make something work with a piece of coat hanger and duct tape I'll do it everytime. Half the fun of the drone is modding IMO :)

Having got my 60Beat controller up and running, I didn't want to loose the range of the iPad wifi and the video display. This 'Heath Robinson' contraption consists of my Book Book case folded back on itself, held shut by elastic bands and supported around my neck by a couple of nylon straps that go between the covers.

Very simple but works well :-)
