After a huge delay, Drone Control HD 2.6 is available:

*Autonomous flight is back. You are now able to track the hulls, stickers and other targets again. Tons of fun!

*When toggling smooth stabilization with the SELECT button on your 60 Beat Game Pad you can see a feedback message on the screen.

*iOS versions below 5.0 are no longer supported.

Yes, there is a little delay because I had no time for tests but expect it in the next few days in the firmware manager.

Please note: the 60Beat Gamepad controller uses the microphone to communicate with your device. When using Drone Control HD with iOS 7 and it asks you about accessing the microphone - you have to allow access, otherwise the 60Beat Gamepad will not work.

Drone Control 2.6.1 is available:

-Fixes speed label update issue.

-Fixes a bug that prevented the youtube videos to play.

-Fixes a bug that forced the control mode to "RC Mode 2" after unplugging the 60Beat controller/deactivating autonomous flight.

I am using an Ipad2 with ver 6.1.3 and an AR2. I don't at present plan to upgrade to ver 7. Should I upgrade to 2.6.1? Also I have a question about the 60beat controller. Is there any way to adjust sensitivity of control sticks?
Thanks for a great program.

You can everything from iOS5 to iOS7 with my AR.Drone Apps, some even support iOS 4.x but this support will be dropped in the future. Thus I recommend that you upgrade to Drone Control DH 2.6.1.

The 60Beat Gamepad respect the speed settings of your AR.Drone. You can change the max tilt or max speed there.

Drone Control HD for the iPad is not available in the US but I submitted updates also to the other versions. They should be available soon.

This is a reply to my question of 10/20/13. You misunderstood my question reguarding the sensitivity of the sticks. My problem is when I am close to ground I can just lightly touch sticks of 60beat in any direction and drone jumps two or three feet.

I think got that right. You can only change the sensitivity by adjusting the max speeds. Does this occur only when you are close to the ground?

I am not sure. It is hard to tell when it is up in air and it doesn't seem to matter then. I will try to set speed down and try.
Thanks for your time.
