Checked the settings and Drone control is enabled in the privacy settings.
I have connected the drone and opened the HUD but then have to exit the app because there is no way to get to the home page. I've wasted way too much time on this app already... For $6.49 it is overpriced in Australia and the free app from Parrot works just fine. I thought you where offering something better.

I'm sorry that the first version of Drone Control HD, that you know, has this messed up orientation bug. A fix is already submitted and will be available soon.

You need to touch the little arrow in the upper left to get from the HUD back to the start screen.

Well Tommy, I hate to say this but I just cant get this program to connect with my drone. The iPAD says its found the drone wifi address but when I go to flight controls on the iPAD, it says it is not connected.

For all kinds of connection issues, please use this thread: http://www.ardrone-flyers.com/forum/vie ... =13&t=4427" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

I did a few short youtube videos to track down your problem and to fix it.

Hello,

Drone Control HD 2.4 should be available in a few minutes:

The live video feed is even smoother now.

The box with the alert messages is scrollable and you can also mark and copy text.

No need to unplug the battery when up- or downgrading an AR.Drone 2 firmware. (not possible with AR.Drone 1)

You can now open the latest firmware installation report. See if and what prevented the AR.Drone from up- or downgrading.

See battery and time of your control device in the start menu.

Many user interface improvements. Some buttons and labels may moved to a new place on the screen.

Cleaned up and restructured the settings. Some features are way better explained.

Pulled my autonomous flight implementation because it did not fully work with the AR.Drone. It will be back soon.

New community menu. Besides the old game center records where pilots can mess with others there are now links to http://ardrone-flyers.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; for the english and http://www.drone-forum.de" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; for the german speaking community.

Hello,

basically there is not special support needed for the fling joysticks or what exactly do you mean? I was using the fling joysticks back in early 2011 with the Drone Control app as you can see here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4lTUa8YkHNk" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

O sugest you see in droneace. If you use without the fling suport the circle is very Big and goes everywhere. If you use with suport the circle is tiny and stays In the last place you use the fling.

And about the sound? It is very good to record the ipad sound. Very usefull In partys recorded from the Air .

I am not droneace fan, There is a lot of issues, as it cant downgrade. But i wish you put those 2 Things In your app for me move on.

Okay based on that criteria I have to admit that there is no "fling support" in the current version. Also, no sound recording. Sorry for overlooking that question. I will take it as a suggestion, you can follow this thread if something changes.

Drone Control HD 2.5 is delayed because of a little rejection for backing up firmware versions to iCloud so I had to resubmit it. Expect it in 5 to 7 days but this is only a guess.
