I presume you're talking about one or other of these:

http://www.chelong.com.cn/full-hd-dvr-cl-802hdv.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

You're missing one pretty crucial specification, from the Drone's point of view... How much does it weigh? I can't actually find an answer myself, but it doesn't look like it's going to be very light...

Cool, although man, it looks HUGE. Have you weighed it?

Shame top mount is the only option, that'll make it harder to take advantage of the lens swivel...

I mounted the camera on top for center gravity purposes.
I have that camera facing forward in the pictures.
But you may also mount it on the side.
Allowing you to move the camera in 180°.
Without getting too much of the body and propeller's in the view.

Does the drone fly with 78G of weight on it? That's a lot!
I notice a difference when I add 3G of weight to it. :)

Send some links to videos if you get it working please! Would love to see it!

Wow, not as heavy as it looks then. Oooo, side-mounted, good idea. Probably a little tricky to get your head around flying towards the subject while filming, but it looks like it should offer good perspectives once you do.

78g with mount is surprisingly light, is that including battery and flash card as well? The GoPro's 94g loaded and ready to go, but before you add the lens cover or protective housing (and the latter's heavy enough I don't think anybody flies with it on.)

Yeah, you don't really have a choice about top-mounting. You can't bottom-mount without covering the ultrasonic sensors, at least unless you have all the weight way down one end of the drone.
