Has anyone been able to find a way to replace the standard forward facing camera on an ARv2.0, with a better / higher res model?

I'm just starting my search now, but figured I'd poll the forum first.

Thanks!

Sorry, that is not possible. If you change the camera with higher resolution, you'll also need to replace the CPU and DSP with something fast enough to process increased data stream, not to mention a new firmware that is aware of new camera and has drivers for it. As you go through this process, you'll end up with a completely new drоne, something like Bebop.

Maybe the question should be can you add a camera vs replace?

Hey, but are there any custom lenses, which make the focus better or the view wider??

I've done that, it fas fun playing around with the focus, because you can set the focus distance to a very short amount!!

That YouTube video isn't much of a mod, but does provide some info on the matter. I ordered a 1/4 CMOS with a wide angle lens, but here's hoping it will fit. The idea is that there should be lenses for these type of small cameras that we can use.
