Mirumod, Macgyver, hull, cam, propeller, leg, cross, ball bearing mods... etc.

bearings fall right out?

Post by mrjoeyjiffy » 18 Feb 2014, 20:30

so I'm doing some repairs on my crush drone and figured I would go ahead and get the bearing upgrade while I'm at it. I bought some VGE bearings off of ebay and when I try to put them in they fall right out I thought maybe I had stretched out the hole for them but when I put the bushings in they fit snug is this common? Is this a bad brand or did I get a bad set?

If it is ok what should I use to hold them in place?

Here is the link to the bearings http://m.ebay.com/itm/290777309880

Any help would be appreciated

Yes, that's common.. and okay. They don't need to be a snug fit.

Ok that's a bit of a relief, any ideas for keeping them in there? Kind of scared to use glue in case I want to change them out in the future

just assemble and fly!.. when you have to replace a shaft or prop, just be careful not to let them fall out.. that's really about all that's necessary.
