Unlikely, because as far as I can say the next update will include only bufixes.

You should switch that on when flying with the propeller protection.

Hello,

there is no way to disable the altitude limit of the Bebop with the current firmware versions. Whenever an app sets a value higher than the max value, the firmware caps that value to the maximum.

Ok thanks for reply such a shame can you recommend a drone that's reasonably priced that would be as easy to fly as the bebop that would get the job done of getting 250-300m high thanks

I guess it is for Bebop 1 only. Enable this feature when you are having a propeller EPP bumper installed on your drone. Meaning this: https://store.parrot.com/uk/accesoires- ... 27932.html

I've never tried to fly above 120 meter altitude because it is not allowed in any aviation regulations on earth (all countries) for a drone or RC aircraft that allowing to fly beyond that altitude. But from the technical perspective. You can try to alter a configuration file on your drone to rewrite the Max Altitude value (currently = 150m). It can be easily done if you have telnet access to your drone.

Hello,

there are certain countries (including Germany) where you (still ?) can fly RC aircraft and of course drones way above 150 meters.

Overwriting the config file with a value greater than the maximum allowed value will not change something in current firmwares, the Bebop drone just caps higher values to the maximum allowed value.

Update to version 1.3 is live:

Added radar feature. (you need to turn this on in HUD settings) It shows your heading and the heading of the Bebop. The radar feature works with and without the SkyController

New settings menue: flight limits. You can set a distance limit there or turn it off. Moved the altitude limit in this menu.

New flight settings options: banked turns and max tilt speed aka "smooth to stop / start"

New settings menu: stream settings. You can minimize latency or maximize reliability from here. There is now also an option to turn off video streaming completely. Added the ability to change the aspect of the video stream.

New video recording options: video stabilization for roll, nick, both or no stabilization at all. 24,25,30 FPS, video resolution in 720p and 1080p. Please note that, recording in 1080p will reduce the streaming quality to 480p.

Fixed a problem with the generation of the location string for the flight log.

Increased the down tilt up to 90 degree for Bebop 2.

Very big thank you to my friend KM Tang in Hongkong for so many suggestions, improvements, flames and comments.

The best of the best Bebop app ever found. I have put comments on iTunes App store. 8-)

The latest version just damn fits to the needs of Ace Pilot. Totally pilot oriented. Bugs free, elegant, crystal clear, totally adjustable FPV parameters. Especially supports full content of 16:9 view screen on iPad/Mini just kicks ass that no other Bebop apps currently on the market supported it. I trashed my FreeFlight Pro immediately after installing the app. Flawless drone application likes this is very rare on these days.

Hi there
I purchased your bebop control app to use with my bebop 2, but it won't connect using the sky controller.
It said in the app description that is supports sky controller.

Hope you can help.

Hello and welcome to the board,

okay I think we had email contact today about this. It is true at the moment (Bebop Control 1.3) does only support the "old" (bigger) Sky Controller that connects via wifi. The update for the new (small) Sky Controller is almost done but it needs MFI (made for iPhone) verification from Parrot and Apple which will take a while.

I will post updates on this issue into this thread.
