I think you guys are gonna pressure me into joining the H-frame crowd here soon... Tricopter is kersplat, maybe I can make a more FPV-friendy one that would be like a T-frame as comparable to an H-frame? We'll see.

Contact hoverthings. They may work with you on developing something more sturdy. Read your pm.... Sorry bout the crash. I know it's painful to see that much time and money go boom. Wouldn't give up on the tri.... Think it's actually really cool. Plus it diversifies the group here. Think people don't realize the capabilities of the tri so much as the quad. That's another option... Add a motor :)

Hate to go Off Topic so I'll try not to get into that Tricopter stuff more here. It was only a $30 frame, and has several salvageable pieces, and had drawbacks I wasn't in love with. But to bring it back on-topic, I'll say that right now I'm back in the market for an FPV multicopter, so I'm thinking an H-frame might be ideal, for its ability to keep the camera from seeing the props. In the last month or two a few people on here have started showing these, so I'll be watching this build and reviewing others to see if I want to use one of these frames or just what.
