and it fell at least 100 feet! nice bounce! AND NO DAMAGE. Its amazing that a 10 foot fall cost me over $100 a couple of months agao and a 100 foot fall.....no damage. Go figure.

I have done most damage from low falls, I don't get it either. All I can say is you get more bang for your buck from the high falls...

I'm with you guys on that one...

I had an angle emergency at 300ft and it seemed the drone leveled itself on the way down as it caught air ... Hit flat upside down... Bent a prop

This last one , a prop flew off at 40-ish feet and ENDED my drone

Go figure

Mine had a lot to do with what it landed on to though... Flat grassy area is way better than the corner of the tailgate on your pickup truck

I've flown small R/C helicopter ie: Lite Hawk XL for hours of flight time.

Flew the Ar Drone 2.0 for about 30 minutes total
Had a minor crash (hit a tree branch twig about 12 feet up)
Hit grass/dirt on the deck.

Now grounded 3 weeks
$70 later and still not flying

Bad luck?

Quick question guys......

In the second video, around the 3 minute mark I have it flying at 75 meters high. The camera seems to be cutting in and out, Is that a loss of video connection to my smartphone? What can I do to fix that?

Use an USB-memory and record local at the drone.

Is there a setting on the flight program to move it to the USB? or does it go there automatically?
