Re: Can you flip a Ver 1.0 ??

8-) YES, IT WORKED! 8-) the flip was a gorgeous (and terrifying) show gorgeous, because the movement was almost majestic, compared to the normal ardrone 2.0 flips (and the parrot-only ardrone 1.0) - one revolution per second, so you can actually see the sequence of events, like in a slow motion vide...

Re: Can you flip a Ver 1.0 ??

Gosh, Szuu, if you crash your only drone, why then you'd have to buy the 2.0. You wouldn't want that! And since you were buying it to develop your commercial software, why it'd be tax deductible (U.S.). Pity!  well, i'm going to buy the new drone eventually, but for now it is not even a...

something is wrong with the drone, of course it should safely land from any altitude.

Re: Warning with pressure altitude sensor

I know my watch measures alititude, but the instructions say you need to calibrate it each time you use this feature, as it measures pressure, and with weather conditions this pressure changes. yes, the barometric altimeter needs calibration, but only if you want it to measure the absolute altitude...

Re: Drone Control 2.0 for iPhone/iPod/iPad (new Thread)

I was really hoping that after shifting my settings to what I like, that I could perform the back and front flips...guess not. :-( if it crashes when using nonstandard settings then this is clearly a firmware bug and should be fixed by parrot some day (if only there was a way to send them this kind...

ARDrone Sim - AR Drone Flight Simulator for Android & iOS!

the problem with iPhone 4 is that it has much higher resolution than 3GS but the processing power was not increased in proportion. That's why decreasing the resolution will usually restore the "balance". iPhone 4S is more powerful so even the increased resolution should be okay. But anyway, the fact...

Re: ARDrone Sim - AR Drone Flight Simulator for Android & iO

just purchased it! nice little game (especially for the price) :) here is some feedback: differences from the real drone (of course i am aware this is just a simple game and not a real simulation, but with little effort it could feel much more like a real thing) - the real drone quickly stops in pla...

How to extend ar drone wifi range using wifi router (b/g)

A Ar.Drone copycat, an expensive one to. But they have a smart thing. They put their Iphone in a dock that seems like a booster of some for me it looks more like a normal RC transmitter (not wifi), but having a phone dock instead of sticks. But then, why use a phone if you have the transmitter anyw...

Re: Internet controled Ardrone IS the Ultimate Range MoD

true, the "unlimited range" of 3G/4G is overkill because of the very limited flying range, but it is still cool because all you need is your phone or tablet - instead of the wifi repeaters/routers or RC equipment we need to think about if it would be possible to have solar power on a drone nope, the...

Re: Mend ultra sonic board

Any one know which is tx and which is rx? I hope to find out when I remove them. One is on a pad. I guess this is tx? 40kHz is correct, and the one isolated by the foamy pad is the receiver (at least in the 1.0 drone) see also: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4RoH1_sKN64#t=83s" onclick="window.open(...

Re: mirumod RC control now supports ardrone 2.0!

great news! - and not that i need a RC mod - but it means that the new drone is still hackable using the same methods as the old one 8-) Would be interesting to see video of a flip while the ardrone is in non-hover mode. ie, flying forward and do a forward flip not a forward flip, but... http://www....
