Re: Competition for the Phantom?
I think sensitivity is partial to the platform people are used to. An ar flown WiFi will be less sensitive than one flown on miru. Switching over to miru is a shock to some people response wise. I am going to order this shortly and am anxious to see the difference. Samsung Galaxy S3 using Tapatalk HD

Re: Competition for the Phantom?
Thinking about ordering the BNF version of this soon. Just need to offload some Ham Radio Equipment to fund this. Trying to not spend any other cash source on drone stuff right now. Xmas is coming soon haha. Any reports from anyone with this in hand right now?

Re: DIY flight recorder for less than $50
Anyone know if this GPS would work?

Also, using a USB splitter, would it allow the video to be recorded to a thumbdrive and pull the GPS data from the reciever if thats even possible

Re: Competition for the Phantom?
I will agree it looks very agile. I am going to get one also. I am sure that the aftermarket will explode on this once its released. Look at all the blade helis. There are LOADS of aftermarket props and crap for them. Its a matter of weeks once this is released that someone is going to start making ...

Re: Tarot FY450 Build
So I had to reverse some of the inputs on the tx as forward was backwards and left was right and vice versa. Replacement arms should be here Tuesday. As soon as this is stable in the air the gopro will be attached and we will see what happens. Is there a way to adjust the throttle sensitivity curve ...

Re: Competition for the Phantom?
With the random fly-aways with the phantom I would feel safer with this. But IMHO wait till this is released and the bugs are worked out before purchasing.

Re: expansys-usa.com and or Parrot sucks
With the blade 350qx right around the corner offering this technology built into the quad (add up the cost of the flight recorder and the ar and your at the rtf price for the blade) they better figure out this shipping and stock issue quickly or people will flock to the blade Samsung Galaxy S3 using...

Re: Competition for the Phantom?
That outdoor footage has a hell of a vibration in it given the vibration dampers on the gp3 mount. A vibration I see on the phantom during fast ascent. I hope this is due to unbalanced props.

Re: Tarot FY450 Build
@DroneFreakFPV: Is it just me being cock-eyed or are your prop's on incorrectly. Because the two on the red arms are CW props and the white arms are CCW props. Yea that was just a mock up for picture purposes. The way I had the motor wires passed through the frame was the issue. I thought I had the...

Re: Tarot FY450 Build
I checked the us warehouse on HK and they Dont have it. As usual. Going to check valuehobby as they are my main go to for tarot parts and frames. Another source is a local shop I recently found that's a dji dealer. May be able to modify something. Shoo specializes mainly in quads so I'm sure they ca...

Re: Tarot FY450 Build
Yeah, I bitch about the landing gear breaking on my Witespy all the time, but I've never broken an arm so I guess it's doing it's job. The Witespy uses Gaui style arms too, which are a pain to take apart but are pretty durable. Maybe a little expo on the Tx to soften up the controls a bit? Exactly ...
