Thanks Shawn for all your efforts on our behalf. I've had the flight recorder for three months and still no update to freeflight although they said Sept (yeah sure). Thankfully now i can use the flight recorder with my Nexus 4. Your app is way better then freeflight. Keep up the good work bud

Dude looking at your fix photos with the two rods thats a damn ingenious method, likin it a lot. Let me know how well that works out would be a good fix going forward. Where did you find the support rods that your using?

PS for qground control I use my lenovo yoga 13 ultrabook/tablet for autonomous flight but no extensive testing as the weather has been really bad throughout sept :( I also have the edrone free flight app on the win 8 tablet it has a great HUD like a proper aircraft hud but again no extensive testing...

interesting results dude, so the flight recorder only uses a subset of the mavlink protocol? is it possible to extend the command set through an update from parrot to allow for extra functionality? (although I think we all know about how bad parrot is on the update front, I'm still waiting for the 2...

I found rotating the blades and watching the gears I would see the large cog go slight higher against the pinion as I rotated the blade runner which told me I had bent shafts
I do that check after every crash now

it was stated in the earlier posts that these were specifically prototypes for testing, but it doesn't say that on the uf website so now I'm more then a little confused???

As a consumer I don't really care who makes the product but I do care about who I purchase from and the info provided. eg. I didn't see the props labeled as proto types on the uf website either.
