Re: QuadMod Pro + GPS

Both rear LEDs being red in flight is normal. Regards video, that sounds odd, that is normally a USB compatibility stick issue. Id try a different stick, make sure that it is formatted etc. Some sticks work without the mod but only if you take it out and reinsert it again, these sticks wont work wit...

Re: Dronetec QuadMod - RC control for your Drone

Hiya, The QuadMod doesn't use a Spektrum RX, its a DSM2 compatible full range RX, so im not sure the telemetry will work in this case. You will have to try. To update the firmware will require you to cut the heat shrink wrap off, you will also need a Sparkfun FTDI breakout board, connect the pins fr...

Re: Dronetec QuadMod - RC control for your Drone

I don't know what's up with Steve he went from one of the main supporters of this forum to "missing in action" I own his Quadmod and love it for my Ar. I'm sure there is a good reason he is not around :!: I prefer to steer clear, too many forum politics, iv been happily dealing with quadmod querys ...

Re: Help needed

Not had chance to try yet but it doesn't make sense to me why when you make the drone lighter would the gains need to be increased. I think my vertical gain is something like 170% so not exactly low. Perhaps it's over gained. That would make more sense

Re: Help needed

gains are as they were before naza upgrade with no problems before. Its not gains, gains shouldn't make it do that especially as the drone got lighter with the 4s not heavier

Help needed

Not sure about this, have been flying it fine with the new naza firmware 3.12 on a 4000mah 3s battery. Decided to switch to a 4s 2200mah which is a lot lighter. Took off and then drone jumped up as usual but then came plummeting back to the ground, i hit the throttle which sent it back up again, the...

Re: Carbon Props Test Flight Trailer Vid

I wasnt having shaking issues, however it was cutting out randomly and broke my central cross.

I put this down to the extra friction causing the motors to throw a wobbly and cutout

Re: Topping a tv mast

I would cancel that order for the FPV tx, you will be disappointed with the range the 200mw gives you. The quoted 2km range is with patch antennas, you will be looking at less than 600 meters with the clover leafs, and when you start to do FPV 600 meters is nothing My advice is to check out the imme...
