Re: Anyone mount a hackhd circuit board camera?

Looks pretty cool. The answer is yes you can power it off the battery. Best way to go about it is to connect to the 12v side so you draw from all 3 cells not just one (this way you don't flattener one to quickly making the drone unstable) then use some resistors to drop it down to the voltage you ne...

Re: To BurningMan or Not? That is the question!

You will need to do a few things to ensure safe flight. Firstly get some end caps for your motors so they don't suck in the dust too much. Second make sure that all your connectors are in hard! It is way to hard to get dust out of them once's its in there. Thirdly do you have a McGiver Mod? you will...

Re: AR Drone diagnostics tool

By the look of your graph all the motor's dropped. So i would say it a problem with the Ultrasonic board or possible firmware. I would re flash it with some older firmware and try that. Then swap out the Ultrasonic board. If that doesn't help i would look at checking batteries. Maybe there is a drop...

@deanes

I read your post on the other topic. I think its just great! i find it funny that a kids is a great answer for the problem. I am thinking how i might be able to make a floating mount for the GoPro using something like this.

Re: Smooth Video tricks - regardless of camera choices

Great topic. I personally have reprogrammed my TX that came with the McGiver Mod. I still have the flat out mode but my mellow mode is set just alittle higher so I can use the mellow mode outside with a light breeze and still have a stable flight. What I have noticed is that at hight there always se...

But it did fail on me for no real reason. just stopped working one day (3 days after i bought it) If you want to see the difference in the 808 #16 to the Wingman HD i have a few video...
