Re: Skycontroller 2 will not turn off

You are right. I'm sorry mixed it up with the SkyController 1. Only the SkyController 1 is able to connect to a TV directly via HDMI out. As far as I know for the SkyController 2 you need an USB to ethernet adapter and then you can get at least the video feed with any RTP client (VLC) on http://192....

Re: Can Bebop be connected to 2 skycotrollers

With a tablet connected to the SkyController this is already possible. One can control the Bebop with the SkyController and the other can control the camera tilt and take photos with the tablet.

There is no need for a second SkyController.

Re: Can Bebop be connected to 2 skycotrollers

Hello,

it's not possible to connect two SkyControllers. But it might be possible to achieve your goal by using a HDMI splitter or Y-HDMI cable (I did not try that)

Re: Skycontroller 2 will not turn off

That is really bad. I recommend connecting the SkyController to a TV and boot it. It will show a lot of informations and very likely also an error message or something to guess the problem.

Re: Ar Drone 2 not taking off

Welcome,

first thing to check: are the propellers mounted correctly? Please see this thread: viewtopic.php?f=130&t=8924

Re: Skycontroller 2 Update 1.0.9 Help

Okay what I was trying to say is that the landing is autonomous and it's highly unlikely that the SkyController is messing things up.

Very easy to validate: turn the SkyController off and connect with the app only - now press the landing button in the app. Does the landing pattern look different?

Re: (almost) all Bebop 1 and Bebop 2 Motor Error Codes

Personally I had this error only once and a simple reboot of the Bebop fixed it. Are you sure you did the reset correctly?

Re: (almost) all Bebop 1 and Bebop 2 Motor Error Codes

This means the motor is either too cold or too hot. (Or the sensor is broken)

Re: Skycontroller 2 Update 1.0.9 Help

Technically there is no way for the SkyController to affect the landing of the Bebop because it works like this: the SkyController "says" LAND and then the Bebop takes over and does everything else.

Re: Should I balance charge Parrot batteries ?

So I understand correctly you are using a 3rd party charger with Parrot batteries? Yes. If so have you noticed any significant performance change that is better / worse than the stock charger. Not at all, besides that good chargers will charge faster and more precise (less cell drift) than the stoc...

Re: Should I balance charge Parrot batteries ?

I'm using a 3rd party charger all the time, you need to solder the charger cable above. With a build in balancer this would not be possible. I can provide a how to if needed.

Re: Should I balance charge Parrot batteries ?

I have to admit that looking on a PCB to tell what it does is an incredible skill. To me this could do anything from low voltage cut off, to cell checking, to overload protection and what not. Personally I have no idea why he thinks this is for balancing the battery. If you look at the charger it ha...

Re: Should I balance charge Parrot batteries ?

I didn't watch the whole video (please provide timecode) and I don't know the gifi battery, but if a battery would have a built in balancer it would not expose the single cell connectors. It would connect to + / - only.

Re: Should I balance charge Parrot batteries ?

Hello, the Bebop batteries don't have the cell balancer logic built inside, if this is what you are trying to say. This is done by the Parrot charger. Using a quality charger is possible if you solder your own charging cable. (breaking the stock charger) I did this a while ago and it would look like...
