Re: Connecting bebop power 2 and controller to iPad

It might be the way he is starting everything. I turn on the drone, wait for the power light to stop flashing then turn on the controller, then plug the USB lead from the controller to the iPad. The ipad then asks to start FreeFlightPro and everything works great.. Have him try that order first and ...

Re: New Drone?

Mitch fails to mention that Parrot is no longer manufacturing the Bebop2 so support (which was never great from Parrot) will become even weaker. I don't recommend looking at Parrot, but if you do either go for a Bebop2 knowing that support will be very weak or go for an ANAFI. I think DJI would make...

Re: Can’t take off

This is puzzling, usually if a drone can't take off, it's either the propellers are on wrong or the battery has insufficient power. It hard to put a Bebop propeller on wrong (hard but not impossible :) ) and if the battery has insufficient power the bebop usually reports this and will not try to tak...

Re: Battery problem

these batteries contain 3 lithium batteries (called cells) (each ~4 volts) connected in series to produce ~12 volts. If you are only seeing 8 volts, it sounds like one of the cells has gone short circuit (0 volts). I would be extremely careful using the battery and Lipo batteries can catch fire when...

Re: Skycontroller 2P versus Skycontroller 2

Many thanks Paul, the 2P did seem to work better than the 2, but I figured it was just my imagination, but the better antennas would definitely help!! I didn't notice a big difference in range, but the Wifi just seemed to stay connected better and work better!!

Re: Can’t calibrate my Disco

It is well known that parrot have great products and atrocious customer support, it is only going to get worst as they move away from the toy drone markets to focus on commercial drone markets!! Don't expect much of a response from them. Glad to hear you could resolve the issue.

Re: Skycontroller 2P versus Skycontroller 2

Hi Samer, I later found that my 2P controller was not calibrated, after I calibrated it, it works exactly the same as my other skycontroller2 and have had no issues since. You might want to connect your phone/tablet to the controller and then check if everything is calibrated in freeflight pro. you ...

Re: Skycontroller will not turn on

Are you sure there is a battery inside the controller? The flashing red/green light is the controllers way of telling you the battery has an issue, that is probably why it won’t turn on. I have 2 controllers and never had any issues with either one.
Check your battery.

Re: Updated Parrot Skycontroller 2 and USB no longer connects

I wonder if in the past (prior to having the skycontroller2) you have been connecting your drone to your phone with a WPA encryption code on the WiFi (thats the way I fly), the new controller will not know the wifi password and will not be able to connect to the drone. As stated try turning on the d...

Re: Micro sd card

Paul, I just purchased a new micro SD card and installed it and my camera now recognises the SD card. The previous cards worked fine with my PC and cannon camera, but would not work with the Parrot camera. You might want to spend $10 on a new micro SD card and see if that fixes your issue, it did fo...

Re: Camera SD card

I don't know why, both my cards work fine on the PC but wouldn't work with the camera, I just went and purchased a brand new 16GB card, formatted it FAT32 and the camera recognizes it and records to it.. No idea why it wouldn't recognize the other memory cards, but for the moment all is good, just w...

Re: Micro sd card

I also seem to have this exact same problem, I have tried 2 different memory cards (1GB and 16GB), I have formatted them on my PC to FAT32 and also formatted them on my Mac but no matter what I do, I plug the memory card into the camera, start the drone but Freeflight-mini always tells me no SD card...

Camera SD card

I didn't want to add to any other topic. I just bought a new Parrot Mambo FPV, it takes a while for the drone to connect to the phone and the WiFi seems weak but it all connects up eventually, the fly pad connects and when I go into fly mode I see the image from the camera. I took a 1GB and a 16GB S...

Re: Mambo modifications

Thanks, I found the Antenna mod, but it was never completed so no idea if it really helped!! Stronger motors just sounds like it would give even shorter flight times!! Guess I will leave it stock for the moment!! :D

Any modifications worth making to the airborne night? Have one and enjoy flying it around but would like more flight time!!
