Re: Bebop 2 wobbles after crash

. . . . . Today I have just turned it on, GPS was alright, took off, tried to fly it a bit in front but suddenly it didn't respond to my commands; took my hand off the phone screen but it kept going and rotating and went right into a tree then fell in the grass . . . . . . . The 'wobling' and rotin...

. . . . . . . But I need to know the signal strength between the two.
I think it doesnt matter that much because the BB2 WiFi power output will be at max 400 mW when country set to US or Hong Kong. If the receiving part of the various SC is the same the 'range' will not be different. :D

Re: Motherboard (central body)

. . . . . It surprises me that more people would want this option. It's great idea for doing firmware updates, transferring files. Why use up battery if you can do this? Because its easyer and way saver to use the battery and charge it when done. The PCB of the BB2 is a very delecate electrical par...

Re: Motherboard (central body)

Ok, I knew the battery is dead and know I'm having short circuit issues. What I need is info on how to power the drone so I can test it. My English is not that good to express myself, but what I meant was, if you dont know where the shortcirquit took place (motor, Fet, IC etc.) youu can not measure...

This happened over 5 weeks ago, so I believe it should be dry by now. . . . . . . .
I'm afraid your BB2 has done some shortcirquit in the rain. For that reason its very difficult to say what the electrical damage is, imo the only thing to solve that is to replace the whole mainboard. :(

I tested the battery and I have 2 bad cells i think. One measured at 3.9v one at 1.8v and one at 5.2v. Never have seen one that was higher than 4v but I checked it 3 times and same readings. . . . . . . .
So I was right with my thoughts, to bad, you cant use that battery for shure.

Re: Motherboard (central body)

Hello fellow dronies, . . . . . . . The battery drained to null, and it rained a little before I could get it down. . . . . . . . . Normaly if a Lithium Polymer (LiPo) battery is drained to zero it has at least one (of three) damaged cell. Therefore you should not fly with it and iit will never sho...

Re: Fire flight pro

Maybe repeating previous advice but always make sure your phones radios are turned off (Wifi/Bluetooth) when using a SkyController to help limit 2.4Ghz RF interference. It will improve the range too by reducing the Wifi noise close to the SC. I also use a Wifi scanner to check the environment and s...

Re: Battery life

When LiPo (Lithium Polymere) batterys go in store for more than a few days you have to discharge/charge them to 60-70% of the capacity. Never store them with 100% load and never unload them to 0%. If you store them for months, just check regular periods. When you store your BB2 in your case/backpack...

Re: Battery life

Please dont make no mistake, 'swollen battery cells' are not only occur on GIFI cells, it occurs on any brand LiPo battery cell when not stored (longer period) with 60-70% charge.

Re: BEBOP2 RTH height update

I contacted Parrot this week to enquire if they were ever going to make RTH manual as I read that the Anafi app allows manual RTH adjustment. Here's what parrot said... Lets hope Parrot come good on this and they are actually going to finally add manual RTH height in the FFP app  Hello Michae...

Yes I too have been looking for the Parrot community today and found this site so registered. Nice to see Bebop2 pilots here :-) Anyway I logged a ticket this week to see when parrot are going to make RTH manual on the Bebop2 and their response below seems to indicate they may be working on it .......

Re: Lost elevation & Distance readouts

If you dont have a distance read out in FFpro you probably dont have a GPS also.
Imo it has nothing to do with a FW version but a GPS connector/cable defst or whole GPS modul faulty.
