Re: First real flight. TOTAL SUCCESS

Hello Jack, Sorry to hear of your fathers passing, very understanding taking time off of flying to help with your families estate. Congratulations with the 1.3 km flight, that’s quite a stretch glad to hear you have an area to fly these distances. Under right conditions, Bebop 2 with SkyController 2...

Re: Skycontroller 2P versus Skycontroller 2

Hello Gary, Glad you got everything worked out, calibrating controller does help. Also want to share something I came across last year, differences between Skycontroller 2 with white rubber band and Skycontroller 2P with black rubber band. The older Skycontroller 2 have four mini antennas, and the S...

Re: SkyController 2 battery problem

Hello Jack, Hopefully your cylinder battery holds out, and continues to hold its charge. If the cylinder battery eventually stops working for you, you can use the connector off the cylinder battery to use with the modified replacement battery pack. Think I made a couple of these packs for under 20 b...

Re: SkyController 2 battery problem

Good luck Jack, hope all works out with what you’re doing. I have a couple of Sky controllers with the same cylinder type battery, eventually replaced battery with a couple of rechargeable Lipo batteries mounted Parallel and charge these replacement batteries with another charger. This solved my iss...

Re: Bebop 2 won’t lift off!

The rear motor cables cross each other, the left rear motor cable goes to the rear right motor, right rear motor cable goes to left rear motor.

This may be the problem, good luck

Re: Skycontroller 2 Issues

Hello Flyboy, From what I’ve gattrted, the miniature circuit board on the SC2P cylinder battery protects the Controller circuit board. But it really doesn’t need it, you can connect 1S 18650 3.7 volt Lipo batteries directly. But mount two parallel, same voltage but will last longer between charges. ...

Re: Skycontroller 2 Issues

Hello, I had the same battery charging issue as you are with the Power SC2P cylinder Battery controller, it took forever to charge but like you I see this controller having much better performance. That’s due to it having two large antennas, auctually has 100% more antenna surface than the other con...

Re: Does anybody know how I can find out what product version Number sky controller 2 that I have?

Good luck with the Solaris Skycontroller 2 models mod, yes you’ll need to do some soldering and cut four trace lines. I’m using both type of controllers for this same mod, SCP2 is easier and auctually enhances reception over the other controller 2 models. Has two larger antennas versus four small an...

Re: Connector for Skycontroller 2p

Hello, I don’t know the proper name for SC2P battery connector, auctually have a working SC2P. My first SC2P circuit board fried connecting a different battery, my suggestion is don’t try to replace the battery only the original 3.6 volt cylinder type will work it has a miniature circuit board built...

Re: Upgraded propellers

I agree with waterlanding, they are not an upgrade. They fit on the motors loosely, they are thin at the mounting area. As you tighten them down, the threaded portion of prop screws will eventually strip. Been there, done that and others experienced the same. Use Parrot made BB2 props only, don’t ri...

Re: Repairing my crashed bb2

Hello Alby,

I see the problem, the rear motor cables are connected to wrong motors, with the rear underneath portion of board, the rear right cable connects to left motor, the rear left cable connectors to right motor, the cables overlap at the rear, you’re almost there 👍

Re: Repairing my crashed bb2

Hello, Yes props are not placed correctly, I’ll post a pic. The circled props have the holes punched in the center of props, they mount here. The other two props are solid, no punched holes. They mount on opposite sides to the punched hole props. Hope this helps, looks like you’re 👍. Good job☃️ Paul...

Re: Repairing my crashed bb2

Good job, excellent that should work once you feel in with epoxy. With the rubber boots, my suggestion was to fill with epoxy and then insert the rubber boot so all dries intact. Just a suggestion, so rubber boots are probably at correct height when assembling the body. Plus, the boots holds the epo...
