Gamepad gimbal stick replacement

Post by Barzar » 14 Jun 2018, 15:45

Good Morning everybody,

I am trying to build my own skycontroller for my bebop 1 because the prize of the original is absurdly high in my opinion.
So I started to look around for alternatives but only found these Wifi extender + Gamepad ideas.
But I wanted to replicate the shape of the skycontroller so I bought one these extending Gamepads for a smartphone and the xiaomi wifi extender that everybody uses.

My original plan was to disassemble the bluetooth gamepad, build a new shell and be finished but then I would have these shitty analog sticks from the gamepad.

Question: Can you replace the analog sticks from the bluetooth gamepad with some Turnigy gimbals since they both have the three pins on each direction or will I get problems with the power, trim or something else ?

Thank you very much for reading my broken english

Thank you and yes I knew that but I thought since it is a pretty specific question I post it here as well.
