Blutrol is now working with iOS 7.0.x!

Blutrol lets you connect physical game controllers to your idevice like the Playstation DualShock 3 controller, using bluetooth.
I've had it working with both PS3 controller and the iPEGA 9017, only with games but so far so good.
Will dust off the drone this week and see how it fairs flying it through AR FreeFlight and both controllers.

Re: Blutrol iOS 7
Does Blutrol require jail-breaking your iOS device ???

Re: AR Drone with Playstation 3 controller and Blutrol for i
Success! Have had an indoor test flight today and it works amazingly well. Flying with physical controllers feels so much more solid than using the touch screen on an iPhone, haven't noticed any lag at all, feels really responsive.
I actually think the iPEGA 9017 controller feels better than using the PS3 Dualshock, as the thumb sticks are firmer with less range needed to push them in any direction. But this is just my preference. If you prefer something bigger to hold with bigger sticks go the PS3 Dualshock.
The bonus in Blutrol is you can swap map the left and right controls!! I tend to prefer moving the drone with my right hand and changing altitude/rotation with my left, so this is now possible. You can also map the d-pad, which I've applied to altitude so I can just tap it to go up and down.
Looking forward to an outdoor flight soon, will post how it goes.
