EDIT:Capodrone answered before I hit submit...

I just went and turned on the screen on the iPad 3 I have here for testing antennas... It's been sitting on my desk for a week with the power on (sleep mode? Just had to click the square to wake it up)

The freeflight app is still there
WORLD RECORD Phantom 4 flight CLICK HERE

Good to know! I'll be switching to one of my Android devices either way.

Wish there was a WebOS version, love my TouchPad7 :P

I've ported my Touchpad to Android Tenderloin (CM 9) just so I could use ARDrone Flight Pro and FreeFlight 2.0. It all works fine except their is an issue with the TouchPad's compass & Android, so no absolute mode. It's set up for dual boot so I still have WebOS as well.

Yes. It's still there if you already had it.

Touchpad7, the 7inch version never released, doesn't have an Android build. Plus since it's so rare I don't want to mod it too much

This could be the demise of Apple too (Steve Jobs was the brains.....not the new guy), if they keep letting the Android market to run app's they deem poor........or whatever they feel to pull it......

Glad to know my Android phone is still supported and can still get the app. Not many apps get pulled from Play, and there's always the "black" app "market" (ends in "droid", begins with "app")

Hello,

no need to panic. If they accidentally reject the binary it will be back in a few days. If Apple pulled it for some issue it will be back in a few days after fixing that issue. Apple never deleted an app from a device - if an app gets pulled from the App store it will work on all installed devices.

In the meantime if you are looking for alternatives to AR.FreeFlight I can think of one or two...

Not true, multiple apps have been removed from store that also remove from device. I've had 2 removed that were both deemed spyware that got by Apples approval system. Both were kids games my daughter downloaded
