Just a bit of spectator video of the disco during last night's sunset test flight.

Disco rebuild complete. Very happy how these spin up on the bench.

Flight tests to come :)

Looks awesome, but I'm not sure I like how your VTx is mounted. Why not lay it down flat? That's begging to be torn off and lost in a crash mounted like that...

That is actually where your suppose to mount it on a Disco.

Get's it up and out of the way of the GPS antenna and provides more signal propagation without it being absorbed/blocked by the frame.

If your going to go in hard enough to rip off the VTX, well your in all sorts of trouble :)

Few FPV sessions recorded over the weekend at a new park nearby... old park was being used for a music festival. I kinda like this one better now anyway!

Great videos Daza! That's a great place to fly, lots of nicely spaced shrubs pretending to be trees!

Nice job with the editing too, what software are you using? I see you picked up a spectator in the 3rd video. It's amazing how people flock to this stuff isn't it? I'd say I get people stop to ask me questions about it at least 50% of the time when I go down to the local park. Sometimes its cool and sometimes its a pain in the butt because I just want to fly. Nice flying though. Your flying style is exactly like mine, down low proximity flying. We poor saps in the northern US will have to fly vicariously through you Aussies for a while, way too cold up there to even think about going to the park <sigh>.

Thanks AK we had a brilliant weekend here last weekend with great weather and your right I picked up a spectator as you do and he stood and watched for like 3 battery packs before wandering off.

Disco is dialled in now and working brilliantly, haven't had to do anything to it for awhile except repair crash damage :)

Here is a bit of a compilation of the weekends activities.

Nice compilation. What was that music, a mashup? Sounded pretty cool.
