Re: I have NOT heard of this before--"My Drone Won't Take Of

There is a diagram and a top down view of the drone showing the blades position in the SDK Development Document.. might not be exactly what you are looking for - but a start.

Attached the pdf.

Re: SDK Example Walkthrough.

Hey simon, Not sure it matters too much if the pad is plugged in or not. I had the same problem to start with where I could ping the drone but was seeing timeouts from the codes output - after I setup the network bridge and manually configured Ubuntu to have the same ip address as the mac host it wa...

Re: SDK Example Walkthrough.

Hey NP.

I put a step by step for VB here

http://www.ardrone-flyers.com/forum/vie ... p?f=8&t=86

I think the part you are missing is the Bridging of the Airport and manually inheriting the IP Address... Its at the bottom of the post above.

Drop another post if you are still having trouble mate.

SDK Example Walkthrough.

I think there is wii support in the example - although it should be easy enough to add kboard support - just a case of copying the inputs for the pad code - might have a play around this evening while the missus watches crap-factor :)

Re: Virtualbox Setup Guide

The SDK comes with support for Logitech gamepads also and could probably be hacked to support others. You need the Iphone SDK if you want to compile the iPhone examples which extend the SDK but the raw SDK is C so can be compiled on any platform. I put a walkthrough up geting the Linux Examples runn...

Virtualbox Setup Guide

Here is a small guide to getting an Ubuntu guest running on a mac (or Windows) using Virtualbox. Download Virtualbox for your intended host machine. Re: Mac Development Environment

I have posted a quick guide, feel free to replicate if you think it is useful mate.

I have also started on a virtualbox setup guide which I will post soon if people are interested.

Would be interested to see your attempts with X11 - I would still prefer it to be compile mac native!

Linux (Ubuntu) SDK Example Walkthrough.

Here is a small step by step to get the SDK examples compiled on an Ubuntu 10.4 install. I used virtualbox to install Ubuntu on my mac - I will provide a step by step for that setup if people are interested. There are some packages required to compile the SDK code. apt-get install libgtk2.0-dev apt-...

Re: Mac Development Environment

I eventually gave up on trying to get the Ubuntu Code running on my mac - too many missing packages and ports which became confusing to me. I read on the developer forum that someone had used Virtualbox to install an Ubuntu install onto their mac so thought I would give it a go. Last night i ...

Mac Development Environment

Hey guys,

Has anyone managed to get a mac setup to run the linux sdk demo supplied with the SDK?

I already had the iPhone SDK installed and have played around with it before but , after trawling the web, I still cant get the code makefile to build.

Anyone got a step by step they could share?

Tapatalk is a plugin for PHPBB (and other forums) that gives native support to mobile devices including the iphone and Blackberries. The forum code is free, but the phone apps are a couple of quid for full access (there is a lite free version that does not allow posting). You can directly upload pic...
